Kanazawa produces over 90% of the gold leaf in Japan. There is an exhibition of utensils and explanations of their use. Visitors are offered a cup of tea containing gold flakes that are supposed to relieve rheumatism. You can also try your hand at a gold leaf workshop, which lasts about 60 minutes. You must choose the object you want to work on: chopsticks, box, plate... The price depends on the object.

Repéré sur le guide ! Je voulais absolument voir cet atelier : accueil très chaleureux, on a pris le temps de nous expliquer le processus de fabrication des feuille d'or dans un atelier traditionnel. Et on nous a offert un thé à la feuille d'or :)
