DONBURI YOKOCHO MARKET

Also called the Hakodate Morning Market, Donburi Yokocho is only a minute's walk from the station. You will find about twenty small restaurants offering fresh products, most of them still alive, like scallops, cuttlefish, octopus and of course huge snow crabs. Grilled, raw, stewed, there is something for every appetite and every budget. The walk itself in the morning around 7am is a great experience. Tickets for a meal are sold at the Hakodate Commercial Association.
