Located 6 km southeast of the Himeji train station and near Shirahamanomiya station, the sanctuary is the theater of a famous matsuri: Nada no Kenka Matsuri (festival of fights), which takes place on 14 and 15 October. We can see the confrontation of palanquins and their carriers.
