This restaurant is located in a traditional Japanese house, overlooking an inner garden. Once inside, you can sit at coffee tables on tatami mats. Only omurice (fine omelettes covered with rice, traditionally with tomato or minced meat) are served here. It is said that this restaurant was the first in Japan to offer them. They can be eaten in their simplest form or accompanied by katsudon (breaded pork) or shrimp tempura.
