The house has been open for over 60 years. The speciality is the typical kitsune udon from Ōsaka, or the nabe udon, small pots made from seasonal vegetables and meats. Although the front invites you to travel, the interior is quite basic. But this restaurant remains an ideal place to eat at a low price for lunch, without sacrificing quality, when you walk around this lively neighbourhood. After lunch, take a stroll down the small alley to the left of the restaurant, which will transport you to the Japan of the Showa era.
