The old town of Tropea, perched on a cliff overlooking the beach, lies on the left of the cathedral, in a maze of small charming streets where shops and antique shops open. The beautiful doors, decorated with whales and other baroque ornamentation, such as the Casa Brago (1721) or Palazzo Cesareo (1734), as well as the majestic entries of some of the nobility residences, will be noticed. At the end of Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the main artery of the center, the Terrazza, is an opportunity to meditate in front of the sea.

Bien qu'en hiver, j'ai apprécié le charme de ce village pittoresque, accroché à sa falaise au-dessus de la mer tyrrhénienne. La vieille ville, si typique, nous envoûte et s'y balader, même par temps frais, est un vrai plaisir. Pour les gourmets, les oignons de Tropea sont un véritable délice.

Magnifique centre ville, surtout le soir avec toutes ses petites rues illuminées, les restaurants, cafés et boutiques restent qui restent ouvert tard.

Très beau centre historique. C'est un lacis de belles petites ruelles étroites dans lequel il ne faut pas s'aventurer en voiture. Beaucoup de restaurants, bar, gelateria et superbe point de vue sur les plages en contrebas.
