The Wayúu Culture Festival integrates all the cultural, traditional and folkloric aspects of the largest indigenous group in Colombia, which lives mainly in the La Guajira Peninsula and neighboring Venezuela. Dance competitions, traditional music concerts, conferences, documentaries, and a large craft and gastronomic fair. The festival is organized by the municipality of Uribia, often presented as the indigenous capital of Colombia.
