The two establishments owned by the same owners are clean and well maintained, and offer good value for money. Hotel Villa Colonial has 25 simple rooms with air conditioning or fan (number 201 has a pleasant balcony), a common kitchen, fresh patios and a roof terrace where breakfast is served. Casa Villa Colonial is a more comfortable option, with a swimming pool on the roof.

Experience très désagréable. Arrivé sur place, la réception tente de nous imposer 25% supplémentaire sur base d'un pseudo règlement (dont on ne peut recevoir une copie). Seule experience de ce genre sur tout notre voyage en Colombie. Personnel très peu avanenant, ni disponible. Petit déjeuner très, très basique.

Cartagena was heel mooi, maar dit hotel was minder mooi. De kamers waren niet afgestoft. Bij het ontbijt snapte ze niet dat ik een gebakken ei wou zonder ham. Niet alle kopjes waren schoon. En de volgende ochtend zat er ei schil in mijn ei. Het zou beter zijn als iedereen in zo'n toeristische stad Engels zouden leren.

En general el hotel es bueno, la atención del personal en el día es muy buena. El señor de la noche no fue tan amable… si lo que quiere es estar cerca a la ciudad histórica y quedarse en un lugar con el mismo aire, este es el lugar ideal. Tuvimos la fortuna de tener la piscina sola, es fresca, limpia y tiene una linda vista hacia el Castillo de San Felipe.

Localização maravilhosa. O hotel fica em Getsemani num local super tranquilo e silencioso. A cama é super confortável. O café da manhã é simples mas muito gostoso. Único inconveniente foi que a água quente às vezes não saía do chuveiro.
