Hotel with cool patios and rooftop terrace as well as a house with rooftop pool offering good value for money
Hotel Villa Colonial (Calle de las Maravillas N° 30-60) and Casa Villa Colonial (Calle de la Media Luna), are located 100 m from each other. The two establishments owned by the same owners are clean and well maintained, and offer good value for money. Hotel Villa Colonial has 25 simple rooms with air conditioning or fan (number 201 has a pleasant balcony), a common kitchen, fresh patios and a roof terrace where breakfast is served. Casa Villa Colonial is a more comfortable option, with a swimming pool on the roof.

Hotel bien ubicado, seguridad y excelente atención por parte de sus empleados. Volvería a hospedarme ahí, cada vez que vaya a Cartagena. Vista desde tercer piso de Castillo de San Felipe

A construção é boa, piscina, café da manhã também, porém os quartos apresentaram alguns problemas:
1- Não tem frigobar
2- TV com poucas opções de canal
3- Minha conge foi MUITO picada por percevejos de cama (bed bugs) durante a noite, seguramente da cama do hotel. Imagino que não sejam todas já que eu não fiquei, porém não é a única já que vimos outros hóspedes com as pernas destruídas de picada.

Hotel muy bien ubicado y el personal muy amable. Además, hay piscina en la azotea. El desayuno muy rico.

Das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich. Ich habe mich sehr willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Es hat Taxis bestellt und war für Fragen da. Auch der Nachtportier war immer freundlich. Es ist sehr sicher, da die Tür immer nur vom Personal geöffnet wird.
Frühstück ist oben neben dem Pool und gut für Lateinamerika. Es gab Eier in 3 Varianten und Müsli mit Joghurt und Obst.
Ganz toll ist der kleine gepflegte Pool. Eine echte Bereicherung wenn es heiß und schwül ist.
Auch die Dachterrasse ist groß und schön mit dem Ausblick und am Abend kann man entspannt noch oben sitzen. Es gibt keinen Sonnenschutz.
Das Hotel ist ursprünglicher, also nicht stylisch neu, gerade das mag ich auf Reisen in Lateinamerika. Alles war sauber und sie waren immer hilfsbereit wenn man was brauchte.
Die Lage des Hotels könnte nicht besser sein. Sehr kurzer Weg in die Altstadt, die für mich sehr touristisch war und das tolle sichere Viertel mit den Grafittis und den guten Lokalen und den guten Arepas von der Straße (gleich um die Ecke) gleich vor der Tür.
Ich kann dieses Hotel wirklich empfehlen, vor allem weil das Personal so freundlich war und ich den Pool gerne genutzt habe.
