Large 5 star hotel with all the comforts, private beach and the most comfortable facilities

A large hotel composed of two entities: Las Américas Casa de Playa and Las Américas Torre del Mar. More family-oriented, the Casa de Playa complex offers rooms and suites with balconies and views of the sea, gardens or pools. The private beach and facilities (pools, bars, restaurants, business center, gym, spa, tennis, miniature golf, water park and video game room) are very comfortable. As for Torre del Mar, it is all the comfort of a 5 star hotel in a tower designed according to the modern standards of the luxury hotel industry.

Basic rooms. Decent linens. Loud with all the kids playing around. If you want to sleep in and relax not the place to do so. Hardware plumbing fixtures are worn out and old. in Wi-Fi is spotty and doesn’t work most of the time. Can’t find anything redeeming let alone close to 5 star which is every misleading. This is a 2-3 star at best. Social program one night with dancing was fun. But I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s far to town and not walkable

They told me breakfast was included at check in and I didn’t think much of it since I paid Agoda for breakfast. The staff then asked me to pay after breakfast where I nibbled at some fruits one hard boiled egg while crows were trying to grab stuff off my plate.

They insisted breakfast wasn’t included and I had to have a long conversation with some of their reservation staff on the phone. I paid $56000 pesos for a terrible breakfast. Overall really really unhappy with my experience here.

Old rooms, noisy environment, tasteless breakfast, location is far from anything you want to do, Wi-Fi is very poor, and overall experience was terrible. Skip this place and stay in a Radisson or even a Holiday Inn more centrally located for cheaper!
