At the foot of the cathedral, Casa Pombo is an architectural treasure, the only Renaissance building in the city. The house was already on the plans drawn by Francis Drake's personal cartographer in 1585. The following year, the city was conquered by the pirate, but Casa Pombo resisted the attacks and is now one of the oldest residences in Cartagena. The works carried out by its French owners achieve perfection, an ideal combination of original splendour and modern luxury. The apartments from 240 m² to 670 m² have a kitchen and each room has its own bathroom, independent air conditioning, safe and flat screen TV. Cleaning and maintenance carried out daily by the house staff. There are also 2 suites and 3 superior rooms. Room service and medical assistance, two swimming pools, one of which is on the sun terrace, accessible by the coral stone stairs or by the elevator.... The view from above is exceptional.
