A public park with playgrounds, tennis courts, monuments, etc.

East of the Carrera Septima, climbing the Cerros Orientales, it is one of the most traditional and pleasant parks of the capital. However, do not imagine a "wild" national park. It is quite large (283 ha), with a nature area and trails popular with mountain bikers, but it is mainly a public park, with playgrounds, tennis courts, monuments, etc. It was inaugurated in 1934, under the presidency of the president who gave it his name.
