Every Sunday and holiday, from 7am to 2pm, car traffic is closed on many of the city's major arteries. Make way for pedestrians, bicycles, scooters, rollerblades, strollers... A real breath of fresh air! This weekly event brings together all social classes and provides a living for fruit juice vendors and bicycle repair shops. Approximately 130 km of avenues are offered to the inhabitants so that they can exercise, in the city which already has the largest network of bicycle paths in Latin America (635 km). Dame Tu Lengua ("Give me your language") is a dynamic organization for foreigners living or staying in Bogotá. It aims to be a space for cultural exchanges and meetings between Colombians of different nationalities, and for language learning, through games, workshops or any form of artistic expression: exhibitions, screenings, concerts, salsa classes, picnics, hikes, cooking classes, ceramics, etc. The meetings take place in their space in Chapinero, or in different places in the capital (bars, parks...).
