The name was originally given by the former owners and bishops of Carcassonne. Jean-Jacques Fertal and Walter Knysz bought this domain of about 190 hectares in 2004. Located in the heart of a small valley overlooking the sea, the domain offers a beautiful panorama of the coastline and the hinterland. You can also take a walk of around 40 minutes, explore the domain or visit the vineyards. An example of a wine that you can savour here is: the castle of Karantes, with its woody nose and red fruits with brandy. The tannic structure gently toasted with notes of liquorice and ripe fruit, cherries, caramel, makes it a harmonious wine that will flourish over time.
