The vast Grand Tourmalet ski area brings together two ski resorts, Barèges and La Mongie, offering a total of over 69 ski runs. Cross-country skiers are not left out, thanks to the Barèges Nordic area. A 14-kilometre route allows cross-country skiers to enjoy the snow-covered landscape. Payolle and the Lienz plateau also offer a variety of circuits, suitable for both snowshoeing and Nordic skiing.
