Why go à SAN JUAN?

Founded by Spanish settlers in 1521, San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico, is without a doubt the country's must-see city. Its international airport, the most important on the island, makes it the main gateway to and from the Puerto Rican nation. Its historic district, Viejo San Juan, contains architectural treasures from the colonial era that should not be missed. The number, the excellent state of preservation or restoration of the old houses and the highly colored monuments make it one of the most beautiful urban testimonies of the colonial period in the Caribbean. A real open-air museum, between the Hispanic and American colonial influence (visible in the neighborhoods of Condado or Isla Verde), which make San Juan a singularity of the Caribbean. San Juan is also the ideal starting point to plan and finalize the organization of a stay in Puerto Rico.
