LA PLACITA DE SANTURCE

The market place was created in 1910. For a long time, it was the heart of the city, for its commercial exchanges. Today, it is a small covered market where one comes in the morning to discover fruits and vegetables of the region, some handicraft stores and to consult the most famous herbalist of the island. But La Placita has especially become a mecca for nightlife in San Juan. Surrounded by restaurants, cafes, bars and discotheques, the atmosphere warms up in the evening and people dance until the end of the night! Salsa of course!
