EL XALOTE

Let's face it, it's mostly the charm of the outdoor terrace, the eclectic decor, the music, the atmosphere and the perfectly executed cocktails that make this small Mexican restaurant, nestled in a not very lively street of Santurce, worthwhile. The tacos could use some improvement, and let's face it, it's not really the food that's unanimous, but the whole thing remains satisfying, especially thanks to the cheerful team of waiters, welcoming and willing, who do their best to make this very nice place shine.
