MUSEO HISTÓRICO REGIONAL

Located in front of the Plaza Constitución, this museum was inaugurated on June 27, 1977. Inside, you can admire weapons, uniforms, archival photos of the department, as well as archaeological and paleontological findings recovered from the area. The centerpiece of the collection is the La Sopanda cart from 1855, which was once used by the inhabitants to go to the Posta de Chuy (and whose schedule is even on display). The space also hosts some workshops, conferences, temporary exhibitions and shows.
