PLAZA CONSTITUCIÓN

The Plaza Constitución is a recently renovated plaza that is considered one of the most beautiful in the country due to its physical appearance and history. In addition to being a venue for many important events, it is also home to historical buildings such as the Cathedral, the Police Headquarters building, the Union Club and the Regional Historical Museum. The Nuestra Señora del Pilar Church, built in 1797, is one of the most representative monuments and was transformed into a parish in the ^nineteenth century before becoming the current temple in 1865.
