CASA DE LA SOCIEDAD ITALIANA

The Italian Society of Mercedes, which was inaugurated in 1894, is one of the most emblematic buildings in the city. Its pediment is decorated with the engraving Societa Italiana di Mutua Protezione, Unione e Laboro (Italian Society of Mutual Protection, Union and Work), reflecting the characteristics of the Italian community that lived in Mercedes at that time. Inside, a hall hosts various events such as parties, concerts and conferences.
