The Ministry of Tourism and Sports, located near the port at the entrance to the maritime station, has several booths providing each of the information on a country department. All of them are represented. On the floor are the employees'offices. Plans, brochures, maps of establishments… And even a Wi-Fi connection. Tourist information centres are located on the Explanada de la Intendencia in Montevideo (18 de Julio 1360, qhs. Ejido) at Mercado del Puerto (rambla 25, qhs 1825, qhs. Maciel), in the Jaureguiberry building (Piedras 252), Posada al Sur (Pérez Castellano 1424), at the Tres Cruces terminal and at Carrasco International airport. The website is in Spanish and English and contains all practical and tourist information to travel to Uruguay.
City-towers are organised by the Tourist Office: 2 hours a day to discover the Palacio Of, Plaza Zabala, Palacio Ponzi, the Iglesia Matriz and San Francisco, the Palacio estévez, the Teatro Solís and the mercado del Puerto. Check out one of the city's tourist offices.
