This market, considered one of the largest in the city, was built between 1906 and 1912 and declared a historical monument in 1999. Notice its four iron towers that overhang: a true architectural marvel of the 20th century! After being closed in 2006, the market reopened in 2013 as part of a rehabilitation project and now has nearly 100 stalls offering local and international specialties as well as quality products such as flowers, fruits and vegetables, meats and cheeses.
