Private museum in Swakopmund with a very interesting exhibition on the different forms of life in the Namib Desert.
Founded by Allan Weber in 1951, this private museum presents a very interesting exhibition on the different forms of life in the Désert desert (fauna and flora), the largest collection of bird eggs in Namibia, and another ore. The historical section of the museum evokes Swakopmund at the time of the pioneers, while the ethnological section gathers a beautiful collection of traditional musical instruments and utensils of Namibian people. The museum sometimes organizes excursions to the Rössing uranium mine.
