The Terrace is a restaurant within the Hansa Hotel that specializes in seafood! The chef works miracles. Excellent and refined. For once, it is better to leave your flip-flops and shorts at the campsite: here, formal dress is required because the atmosphere is rather formal in a luxurious setting... The Terrace also offers a good selection of South African wines to accompany the meal. The hotel also has a bar with a wide selection of spirits. You'll leave the place delighted!

Love this 'home-away-from-home' establishment. Always nice to come back to the Hansa. Most friendly helpful staff, always familiar faces year after year. Tranquil, comfortable homely hotel with best location. Very accommodating with helping out looking after our extra luggage while we were on a fly-in Safari and used the Hansa as our base.
Nothing like a delicious Brötchen in the morning at breakfast.

Hier wird Schuss(Brandy, Kaffee- Eierlikör) flambiert und mit Kaffee abgelöscht und dann lecker Schlagsahne obenauf serviert.... Sehr lecker, but don't drink and drive;)

Wir waren zum Essen da, es gab Fisch.
Das Ambiente erinnert sehr an die Titanic, plüschig schwelgender Luxus, viele Gäste im gehobenen Alter, alles sehr deutsch.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mitten in Swakopmund. Nachts ist es erstaunlich ruhig, so dass man in den bequemen Betten gut schlafen kann.
Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
