This ochre-coloured lodge, adjacent to the Solitaire petrol station, offers 25 spacious and air-conditioned rooms, around a lovely garden and a small central swimming pool, a few bungalows and a camping area. You can enjoy breakfast and dinner at the Van Der Lee café and watch the sunset from the open-air terrace. The small historic village of Solitaire, overrun during the day by the many travellers who stop here on their way, becomes a peaceful oasis full of stars at nightfall.

Hôtel incroyable et magnifique au milieu de rien. De vieilles carcasses de voiture sont exposées. Les chambres sont correctes. La piscine est propre. Les diners sont copieux, le petit déjeuner très simple. Un petite boutique bien achalandée et même une boulangerie. et la station service. Endroit où il faut absolument séjourner !!

Nous avons utilisé le camping qui est géré également par le lodge. Tarif défiant toute concurrence à 150 N$ par personne, Wifi gratuit. La piscine est réservée aux clients du lodge.
Un endroit très agréable où faire une pause, je recommande.
