The Moon Mountain benefits from an exceptional site, located on the heights between the Naukluft mountains and the petrified dunes. The chalets built in wood and safari canvas, on stilts, on the mountainside, are carefully and soberly furnished. They are very comfortable and have a hardwood bathroom, a terrace with a small pool area for cooling off and a large, cosy bed facing the horizon. The restaurant and the bar with its large wooden terrace are warm and welcoming spaces.

Moon Mountain Lodge is an ultra-luxury tented lodge ideally located at the foot of the Naukluft Mountains. The large, spacious rooms offer all the comforts of a luxury hotel suite with endless views from your bed or private wading pool. The lodge is located 56 km from Sesriem - the gateway to Sossusvlei, home to the world's highest dunes and close to the picturesque little village of Solitaire.
Moon Mountain Lodge offers 17 accommodation units, each with a private deep pool. The rooms offer spectacular views of the adjacent mountain ranges or the desert landscape. In addition, each unit is individually decorated. Executive suites feature a separate private bathroom. Bathrooms include a separate deep soaking tub and a walk-in shower with a rain shower head. Double sinks allow for ample space, for added convenience, bathrobes are provided.
Vous payez (très cher) la vue qui est en effet exceptionnelle. C'est tout. Il s'agit d'une tente loin d'être luxueuse, c'est même spartiate. Je préfère toujours avoir du confort donc si j'avais su j'aurais réservé une vraie chambre confortable dans un lodge, la vue ne compense pas une bonne nuit de sommeil.
Autre chose, l'hôtel est très mal indiqué, évitez d'arriver la nuit.
