In Lüderitz, in the south of the country, the end of May marks the beginning of the Crayfish Festival. A gourmet event that attracts every year many locals and travelers around the lobster festival. Three days of open-air festival, punctuated by shows sometimes as offbeat as a car rodeo show on a parking lot, but above all tastings of meaty oysters and many other seafood in the heart of the oldest city in South West Africa.
