The annual meeting of kitesurfers who come to beat speed records in one of the windiest bays in the world.

If you come to Lüderitz at the end of October, you will have the opportunity to see a lot. Indeed, the annual meeting of windsurfers and kitesurfers, passionate about windsurfing and kitesurfing, is taking place. An event organized by Sophie Routaboul and Sébastien Cattelan, the Lüderitz Speed Challenge festival is aptly named as it invites sportsmen and women to break speed records on the sometimes turbulent waters of the Atlantic Ocean that border the country for 1,400 km.
