It is the Swakop River that supplies Von Bach artificial lake, created in 1968. It is appreciated by enthusiasts of water skiing and especially fishermen who find in abundance carp, brèmes and black perch. This lake, 49,9 million m 3, is Namibia's third water reservoir.
