OKTOBERFEST

Heir to the Germanic culture due to its colonization at the beginning of the 20th century, there is no October without Oktoberfest, even in Namibia! At the end of October, mainly in the city centers of Windhoek and Swakopmund, the traditional German beer festival takes place. A very festive moment, where nostalgic people will bring out their Bavarian costumes and sing at the top of their voices with a mug in hand. During the Oktoberfest, only one commandment seems to hold: the beer must flow and the sausages must be out!
