Penduka Village is located on the edge of the reservoir and has six rondavels, five bunkhouses and a campsite.

At the edge of the reservoir: 6 rondavels with shower, toilets, 2 beds, made of stone and thatched roofs, painted in the colours of Africa, 5 sleeping huts and a campsite. Restaurant and tea room with a small stage where local artists play. Beautiful craft shop. You can visit the small traditional village Ehangano which presents 8 different ethnic groups of Namibia. Although remote, it is an ideal address to learn about the local culture and to be able to apprehend its journey beyond the landscapes and closer to the customs.

Pour commencer, très gros problème avec les indications : nous avons mis plus d une heure à trouver le site après avoir tourné dans le bidonville... Les indications données par le guide sont très vagues : "après un petit supermarché rose tournez à gauche" sauf que le fameux supermarché ne doit plus exister et qu il n'y a pas de panneaux de direction. Bref gros point noir, nous avons failli rebrousser chemin pour prendre un hôtel dans le centre. Car il faut préciser que penduka se trouve dans un quartier qui ne fait pas vraiment envie...
Les rondavels sont mignons de l extérieur mais l intérieur est très sommaire, en mauvais état et pas propre. C est de plus très mal isolé et nous avons eu froid toute la nuit.
En définitive je ne le recommande pas, il vaut bien mieux prendre un hôtel plus proche du centre!
