Very good option for a 100% local atmosphere and to try traditional Namibian cuisine, such as mopane wor ms (Mopane worms - Namibians love them!),oshifima (compact dough made from millet flour or white maize),onghuti (pigeon) or Omakondo (whole sheep's head!)... For the less daring, the menu offers a choice of more classic dishes based on fish, beef or goat. A place very appreciated by Namibians, right in the city centre. Be careful however, it is better not to be in a hurry as the service is slow.

Peu faire mieux!
La Pepata est un restaurant très bien situé, juste à côté de la National Art Gallery of Namibia, et devrait donc proposer un accueil à la hauteur. Hélas, malgré un cadre très agréable dans une cour fermée et arborée, le service est lent, incohérent, voire dédaigneux et la nourriture assez limitée et moyenne. Il semble que le restaurant ait déménagé, remplacé par un autre, sans enseigne! Prudence!
