From the name of the valley which takes its source in Mount Gréboun, the dunes of Témet are the highest in the Aïr and, at their summit, we embrace a sea of dunes and on the horizon, the immensity of Ténéré. There is no water point in Témet except a source often dried in dry season, upstream of the valley inside the massif. For this reason, one can only meet one or two Tuareg camps often reduced to a mother of family and her flock of goats. During the rainy season, (if it rained!) the flora is particularly varied and specific because enjoying altitude (more than 1 000 m and the peak of Mount Gréboun is 2 000 m). It is very cold in winter.
