OLD GARDEN RESTAURANT

A popular address, without fuss and not too touristic in the heart of the old town. We eat outdoors in the courtyard, a combination of stones, wood and greenery, or in the room with its beautiful oriental decorations and mosaics. It's good and cheap for Azerbaijan's basic recipes: ravioli, salads, kebabs are displayed between 5 AZN and 8 AZN in the menu, but the bill can rise faster by ordering longer to prepare specialities such as kazan kebab (lamb stewed in sauce) or local wine. But the bill is still very reasonable. Good to have: it is a good address to order a Sheki piti (baked pottery in which a mixture of beans, potatoes and sheep meat is cooked). Folk music groups perform on certain evenings during the season.
