CASTLE (ZAMEK)

Located right next to the Rynek, it is the main attraction of the city. Built in the 15th century, it was rebuilt in the 1870s in the neoclassical style and turned into a museum in 1946. The rooms have been reconstructed in great detail from old photographs. The most interesting room is the prince's study. The castle is surrounded by a beautiful English-style park with numerous hiking trails, with the Pszczyna River running through it. Since 1979, the castle has been home to a baroque music festival.
