Tarnów has a beautiful Renaissance-style Market Square, lined with old Renaissance-style arcaded houses. Stop at number 20. Dating from 1565, this house was the home of rich Scottish merchants. It was then the headquarters of the Masonic Lodge and is now attached to the Regional Museum. In the middle of the square stands a Gothic and Renaissance town hall (Ratusz), which houses the Regional Museum. From the top of its tower, every day at noon resounds the hejnał . To the east of the Rynek opens the old Jewish quarter.
