The three-masted Dar Pomorza, a frigate from the early 20th century, is located in the port and is a museum ship. Formerly a training ship, it sailed over 800,000 km under the Polish flag, making 105 voyages and 319 calls at 140 ports, training no fewer than 13,911 officers for the Polish Merchant Navy! At the end of the pier is a memorial to the famous writer Józef Konrad Korzeniowski (Joseph Conrad). The "Gift to Pomerania" has flown the German and French flags throughout its history.
