Facing the Heweliusz monument, this beautiful 16th-century building has an elegant facade in the Flemish Mannerist style typical of the amber capital. It became the headquarters of the Red Army in 1945 and today houses the Gdańsk Cultural Center (Nadbałtyckie Centrum Kultury), with a bookstore and art exhibitions, which is a good excuse to visit the richly decorated interiors, where you can even sit and have a drink.
