This exceptional museum, which opened in 2017, honors the history of the city of Gdańsk and the tragedies experienced by Poles during the Second World War. Its recent museography blends texts, video testimonies and objects, and presents the entire conflict from the Polish point of view, from the declaration of war to the debacle of defeat, from resistance to Nazi and Soviet oppression. The tour is extensive (4 hours to explore everything). Audioguide strongly recommended.
