REGIONAL MUSEUM (MUZEUM PODLASKIE)

The museum is housed in the former town hall. The permanent exhibition includes over 120 works by Polish and foreign painters from the last two hundred and fifty years. The gallery boasts an important group of paintings and works by artists associated with the court of Jan Klemens Branicki. The pride of the gallery is the group of canvases by Polish painters trained at the Munich Academy, including the masterpiece A Trip in a Carriage by Alfred Wierusz-Kowalski.
