ASSUMPTION CATHEDRAL

Originally, two churches were combined to form one. The first, in Baroque style, was built between 1617 and 1626, and then converted between 1751 and 1752. The second, in neo-Gothic style, was added between 1900 and 1905. Today, it takes the form of a large brick edifice. Work was carried out on the latter, and its superb stained-glass windows were commissioned from the Krakow stained-glass workshop.
