ECO LODGE LA CANASTA

To reach the lodge you must cross the river in a small «basket», hence the name of La Canasta. This lodge is the first in Honduras to have been built from natural materials and recycled bags, the famous Earth Bags. It is part of La Ceiba community tourism initiative for more responsible tourism in the area, enabling economic development of local communities, even the most withdrawn.
