BOAT EXCURSION

In Puerto El Triumfo, fishermen are waiting in the morning (every day of the week) on the havana (the wharf) to offer their services. Negotiate with them the price and duration of the excursion. On weekends, many Salvadorans go to the family. The tour is usually two hours: Tour of the bay, lunch at one of the floating restaurants, and stop on a sand bench (at low tide) to bathe. Contact for example Miguel Gomez (number above), he has a boat and often holds as a guide in the bay (he speaks only Spanish). For a tour at sunrise or sunset, contact Puerto Barillas Lodge & Marina. Please note that Puerto Barrillas is not available from Puerto El Triunfo. There is another road, not shacks, whose deviation lies on the road between Jiquilisco and Usulutan. The easiest thing is to ask Puerto Barillas Lodge to arrange a transfer.
