L'Eden is the guest house of Mahmoud Ould Beija, a local tourism actor for nearly 30 years. Originally from Chinguetti, he offers through his accommodation one of the most beautiful ways to discover the ancient city, as well as the surrounding landscapes: 14 rooms, all equipped with a private bathroom, welcome you in the middle of the Adrar desert. Mahmoud and his team are at your service: the meals, prepared on the spot, have good taste and are moments of conviviality. In addition to rest and freshness, you can program several types of excursions.

Having my private suite after some camping it was amazing! Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Mosquito nets too. Food was really good specially breakfast with fresh baguettes, French press coffee, yogurt, juice even Nutella! Great place for rest!

The host here was lovely and obviously very proud of the Auberge. It was what I can imagine being one of the best places to stay in Chinguetti. We had mosquito nets and the bedding appeared clean.

I've never gone to Mauritania but I have great interest in its history and chinguetti is an Important and historical places and this hotel is the only liveable place there

Mr. Mahmoud is a great host and his place is well kept. In Chinguetti, I highly recommend this hotel.
