By continuing the runway towards Walata, about 115 km from Tichît, you cannot miss the rock of Makhrougat. A hundred meters long for metres of height, this stone colossus is pierced in its centre by a hole allowing to alternately move on one side or the other. The faces of the rock are adorned with small niches with crowd, mêle, tools and ropes. Antique engravings and more recent inscriptions reflect the frequency of visits, at any time in this place.
