The camp is located 14 km west of Wasa Lodge, close to the floodplain of the Kasanka River, making it a good spot for wildlife viewing. It is also close to the Fibwe Observatory, a platform site in the canopy in the preferred forest area for bats during their migration. It is also not far from Bufumu Forest. The camp is well suited for large groups. It has toilets, bucket showers and kitchen shelters, and the staff provides wood and hot water for showers.
