North of Feldbach. The Riegersburg fortress is over 850 years old and dominates the region on a volcanic spur, offering magnificent views over the vineyards. The oldest castle in Styria, it was restored in the 17thcentury by Elisabeth Katherina von Galler. Museums on the history of the site and on witches. A tavern, a children's area and a terrace bar offer a variety of pleasures. A popular weekend destination for Graz locals.
