ABBEY MUSEUM (PFAHLBAU UND KLOSTERMUSEUM)

This is one of the four museums that can be visited in Mondsee in the summer. The museum is located on the grounds of the former abbey and reconstructs a number of old-time shops, including the blacksmith's shop, using old materials and history. The abbey museum also provides information on the nature of the Alps and its riches. In addition, there are a number of collections devoted to archaeology and ancient crafts.
