SUMERAUERHOF OPEN-AIR MUSEUM

It is not a reconstruction as is often the case when visiting an open-air museum. This farm has been feeding the abbey's residents since the beginning of the 13th century. Its large square shape is typical of Upper Austria. The present building dates from 1855. It was closed down in 1970 and now houses an open-air museum with an exhibition of rustic furniture and folk art from the region.
